Yay for the weekend! I just realized that How To Get Away With Murder came back this past week and Scandal will be back next week! With Big Brother over, I’m excited that I’ll have these shows to keep me distracted from being productive. I like to stack up the episodes on those 2 shows because then, if there are any cliff hangers, I can instantly watch the next episode without having to wait a week and forgetting what happened. I might have to start watching HTGAWM this weekend, though.

Suspenseful shows seem to go so well with the fall weather. I ended up not feeling well on Tuesday so I cuddled up in bed with Tuck and watched episode after episode of NCIS (the original DC series). Netflix makes it way too easy to binge watch. I’ve always been more of a CSI girl, but now that Bones is over and Castle has been cancelled, I need my crime show fix. Let me know if I should watch NCIS LA or New Orleans, too!

Besides the fact that some of my favorite shows are back on, I’ve dug out every sweater I own. And I’ve been having such a problem deciding which fall pieces I want to add to my closet right now. I’m exercising major self control trying not to go crazy at the Shopbop sale for account holders (which ends today, by the way!). Next on my list are a couple of oversized knits from Zara and a distressed pair of denim like these or these. Leave me a comment if you recommend any distressed denim!

I’ve always loved colorblocking for a modern twist on a sweater.  My favorite colorblock sweaters and jackets are below! They last from season to season and it’s one of the only times you can get away with wearing a random mix of colors. Pair a colorblock sweater with black denim and booties and you’ll be all set to go!
