Happy October, loves! I’ve adding shoe after shoe to my fall style “to buy” list and didn’t realize how immense it had become until today. My wishlists on websites like Nordstrom, Revolve and other online stores have become full of oversized cardigans, chunky sweaters, delicate gold jewelry and plenty of booties. So, in honor of the quintessential fall month starting, I wanted to share my current shoe wishlist for this year’s fall season.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve found myself beginning to welcome more detailed and bold shoe choices. In the past, I’ve preferred to keep several versions the basics in my closet: the black heeled bootie, suede over the knee boots, chelsea boots, etc. And yes, they’re typically all black or brown for the colder months.

I’ve been so inspired by the embellishments, embroidery and other interesting details on fall shoes this year. Right now, I’m having an internal debate over which color of the Sam Edelman Case booties I should purchase (#4, #7). Let me know if you prefer the blue or the mauve! I change my mind every single day. But I guess that’s a good problem to have.

I’m having so many issues deciding the pecking order in which to buy these shoes. I wish I could have every single pair in my closet at the blink of an eye, but that’s just not realistic and I would end up feeling mega guilt afterward if I actually did purchase them all.

The embroidered open-toe pair from Rebecca Minkoff (#3) and the star pair from Lola Cruz (#8) are so cute! Wear them with a simple cardigan, oversized scarf and distressed denim and you’re all set. Let the shoes do all of the style work for you.

While some of the pairs are more trendy, they’re still eye-catching and unique pieces to add to your closet. You’ll get tons of compliments and you’ll wear them plenty this fall and winter.

I’m also someone who doesn’t like to wear a lot of color, but when I do, I feel most comfortable when the color is on my feet. The darker jewel tones (#6) and the grays (#1) are fall staple tones. They add richness and luxury so pairs like that give us an easy way to dress up any outfit.

I hope this list helps you guys sort out some of your fall style! Comment below to let me know what shoes you’re planning to buy, too!
